Collection: The Wines of Daniel Schweizer

Daniel Schweizer took over his family’s winery in Schwaigern, Württemberg, in 2014 and consistently transformed it towards natural wine. With the 2018 vintage, he released his first interpretations. His approach is as individual as it is forward-thinking: his 3.5 hectares of vineyards are cultivated sustainably, in part with the help of horses, while in the cellar, he employs long maceration periods, spontaneous fermentation without temperature control, minimal sulfur use, and no filtration.

His grape varieties include familiar classics such as Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Lemberger, but also lesser-known yet highly intriguing PIWIs like Regent, Saphira, and Johanniter.

Always low in alcohol, his wines exude an inviting, lively drinkability, yet never at the expense of profound depth and a complex aromatic spectrum.
