Regent is a fungus-resistant grape variety, meaning the use of spraying agents is reduced to virtually zero.
Combined with extremely vital soils, this creates an environment that— as much as possible within a cultivated landscape— truly lets nature have the first and last word. Daniel ensures the necessary conditions with gentle pruning and careful canopy management, but beyond that, the process is shaped by the interplay of meteorology, pedology, geology, flora, and fauna.
Once harvested, the wines are placed in used barriques or 500-liter barrels, where they ferment and mature without temperature control.
The final result is a light-footed wine with depth— a perfect match for Maultaschen but equally well-suited for roast beef. It boasts an elegant body with a dynamic, fruit-driven finish.
