The Wines of La Possa
La Possa - the name is a reference to the Possaitara, the valley sloping down to the sea where Samuele Bonanini's vines are rooted - is a cultural achievement, a wake-up call, an attempt to breathe new life into a once great wine-growing region. It is hard to imagine more spectacular vineyards than those in the Cinque Terre: the sky above, the sea below and in between cliffs and ludicrously steep slopes, in which - planted extremely densely - thousands and thousands of vines can be found, from whose grapes Samuele presses precise, mineral white wines, astonishingly impressive rosati and - in our opinion - the two best sweet wines in Italy.
