Grüner Veltliner, Zweigelt and Welschriesling: the three guiding stars of the Weinviertel united in a single wine.
It’s not something one would normally do, of course, and there’s no official approval number or quality seal for it either — but the red-white-red of the official Austrian capsule would clash with the stylish label anyway.
What matters is that it tastes great, which shouldn’t really come as a surprise. On the one hand, Reinhard Pacejka makes sure that nature has the first and last word in his vineyards; and on the other, he works in the cellar with what he himself calls “hand and mind,” which is anything but a given — and naturally benefits this quintessentially Weinviertel rosé cuvée.
Happily, it has substance and depth, yet also shines with vitality, verve, and an inviting, uplifting aromatic profile.
