Niki and Kathi Moser make the most of their terroir. The Rohrendorf vineyard Ried Gebling is one of those rare Kremstal sites characterized by a comparatively high limestone content: a circumstance generally advantageous for many grape varieties, but absolutely essential for truly great Pinot Noir, as it gains both structure and finesse from it.

Beyond geology, the climate also plays into their hands: continuous winds sweep through the rows of Gebling, bringing a welcome cooling effect at night that is particularly beneficial for Pinot Noir. Combined with decades of biodynamic farming and thus vital soils, this creates ideal conditions for perfect grape material.

The winemaking is handled by Kathi’s husband, Honza—viticulture at the Mosers is a true family business. With artisanal precision, he vinifies a profound, elegant wine defined by clarity, tension, and verticality, continuing the exceptionally high quality standard set by the Moser family’s white wines.
