Martin Gojer makes a wine for everyone – un rosso per tutti – from the grapes of his various Vernatsch and Lagrein vineyards. In a few words, it is a red estate cuvée, a fingerprint of what Martin’s terroir has to offer in general.
The intention is appealing: it’s meant to be a wine that represents the region in a very typical way, while also reflecting Martin’s principles. It shouldn’t have too many rough edges, just a few gentle contours – not overly complex, yet still profound.
The vines are, as always, cultivated biodynamically, the grapes harvested at perfect ripeness, spontaneously fermented, and then aged in concrete – the ideal vessel for wines that are juicy, inviting, and carried by precise fruit and delicate spice.
