On the front label of V, the following adjectives are listed: powerful, unconventional, generous, nonconformist, resilient, untamed, extraordinary, magnificent, and indigenous.

These descriptors refer both to the Vigiriega grape variety—once widespread throughout Andalusia but now rarely found—and to some of its defining characteristics. V is made from 100% Vigiriega, and the listed attributes also hint at the fact that it is not always an easy variety for growers to work with.

Once understood and, to some extent, tamed, however, Vigiriega offers all the ingredients needed for great wines. It is capable of expressing its terroir with remarkable precision, retaining its acidity even in the scorching heat of southern Spanish summers while avoiding excessive sugar accumulation. At the same time, it opens up a sensory panorama that combines maritime and terrestrial notes. V typically displays aromas reminiscent of pine trees, sea salt, citrus fruits, white blossoms, ripe apples, herbs, and honeydew melon. These flavors are woven into a structure that flows across the palate with freshness and clarity, finishing with energy and vitality.
