Italy has around 700,000 hectares of vineyards spread across all 20 regions. The geological and climatic differences are eminent. There is more than just one world between South Tyrol and Sicily. In addition, there are around 500 different grape varieties, countless viticultural traditions and a multitude of excellent winegrowers who interpret them in their own personal way. So there is a lot to discover. In our range, we pay tribute to this diversity and combine it with personal preferences - knowing full well that we can unfortunately only offer a fraction of what would actually be worthwhile.

The Biancoviola is the white answer to the red Moretto. It consists of three different grape varieties from three vineyards located far apart from each other. The Saignée is a clear reference to France, especially to Provence, where excellent rosé wines are still produced today using the (Saignée) method of the same name. Aldo has also done this for many years - but with the 2018 vintage, he is going one step further and building a finely woven, playfu...

Cinzia Pelazza and Eugenio Bocchino's real home is Barolo, where they produce some of the best Nebbiolos in Piedmont. Dolcetto plays the leading role and no other variety has a say. It is matured in old vats, fermented beforehand with its own yeasts, the maceration time is long (40 days), the harvest is manual and the work in the vineyard is geared towards minimal yields (2500kg/ha). The wine only contains micro...

Egesta is one of the most original and best white wines in Sicily. It is made from 100% white Grillo, a variety that is associated with Sicily more than almost any other, but which apparently does not originate from the island. It was probably first planted in Sicily after the phylloxera campaign...

Trebbiano Spoletino can only be found in and around Montefalco. How the grape variety got there or whether it has always been there is still unclear. Samuele Bonanini is one of the few winegrowers who still dedicate themselves to the vines on the steep slopes of the Cinque Terre.
