Samuele Bonanini is one of the few winegrowers who still dedicate themselves to the vines on the steep slopes of the Cinque Terre. On small micro-parcels held up by stone walls and connected by ropes, he works on cultivation in the truest sense of the word. The best example of this is his "Cinque Terre Bianco", a brilliant cuvée made from the two white classics of the Bosco and Albarola regions. Harvested by hand in small crates and brought partly by sea to the harbour of Riomaggiore, the grapes are gently pressed and then fermented spontaneously. The wine is matured for a good year in acacia barrels and in steel tanks.
Nutty notes, citrus fruits, eucalyptus. Compact, creamy, fresh, straightforward. Good tension, salty, herbal, Mediterranean, warm. Dense texture. A soft but supporting acidity. Calm. Long
