Collection: The Wines of Vitikultur Moser

Niki Moser from Rohrendorf near Krems is a pioneer of truly sustainable winegrowing. For decades, he has been cultivating his vineyards according to biodynamic principles—a fact worthy of special mention, as he applies them not to five but to fifty hectares. The result are extremely vital soils, which in turn produce vigorous and resilient vines, ultimately yielding healthy grapes. These form the foundation for great wines—and by now, there are quite a few of them, above all Niki’s Grüner Veltliner monument Minimal and his mineral, profound Blanc de Blancs.

For some time now, he has been joined by his daughter Kathi and her husband Honza, whose joy in experimentation has further enriched the winery’s range of wines. Their skin-fermented Sauvignon Blanc Diagonal, for example, is a testament to just how complex, nuanced, and elegant orange wine can be.
