The somewhat intimidating name of the wine should not deter anyone from trying the white base of Tenuta Saiano. We guarantee that the vinified remnants of the winery stand far above many other less honestly labelled entry-level wines - which is mainly due to the fact that the Maggioli family's vineyards are always worked meticulously and without the use of unnecessary chemicals and the hand-picked grape material is pretty much perfect.
Trebbiano and Grechetto Gentile are the two grape varieties used, which are then fermented spontaneously. The wine is matured in cement and bottled unfiltered.
The gypsum-influenced geology gives the Zero Leftovers a taut structure in which bright fruit flavours and ethereal notes are embedded. The overall impression is crystalline, puristic and juicy on the finish.
