HP Harrer: Blaufränkisch Langer Atem 2017
- €19,90
HP Harrer’s Blaufränkisch reflects its roots in the calcareous soils of the upper Lange Ohn vineyard, shaped by cool west winds. This terroir is brought to life by a meticulous winemaking philosophy: biodynamic cultivation, manual harvesting, spontaneous fermentation, a measured maceration period, aging in used oak barrels, and minimal intervention. While it might sound straightforward, this approach is a rarity, and its result is anything but ordinary.
Style
This Blaufränkisch delivers a spicy-fruity aroma profile interwoven with a dynamic and textured structure. The compact body is supported by vibrant acidity and firm yet refined tannins. The mineral-driven finish benefits from the vineyard’s calcareous soil, offering a sense of focus, power, and elegance that lingers long after the last sip.
