The niche in the niche. A wine for operetta fans in the natural wine scene! At least one could guess if you get to the bottom of the face on the label. This belongs to Jeanette Macdonald, who had the music affine cinema audience romped in the 1930s and 40s - in our special case in the film Naughty Marietta, filmed in 1936 and at least nominated twice for the Oscar.
The La Traviesa Blanco comes from one hundred percent from the white Vigiriega, which is based on the Canary Islands and in the Andalusian Sierra. The grape variety has no problems with drought and also delivers wines with structure and vitality in the desert -like conditions of the two regions.
The vines for the La Traviesa Blanco can be found at about 1300 meters in the Andalusian Sierra de la Contraviesa. They are managed biologically, although even copper and sulfur are rarely used thanks to the extremely dry conditions and in some years. The wine-like all La Traviesa versions-is vinified by Barranco Oscuro: i.e. in a nutshell that the wines are not added but nothing is taken away.
style
Flower notes & exotic flavors. The height of the barn (1300 meters) compensates for the latitude (on the same height as tunis). Structuring and lively acidity meets a concentrated and warm texture. Hiss straight and pulsating over the palate. A wine for every day, but with a lot of quality.
