Sivi Pinot - better known as Pinot Gris or Grauburgunder - is one of the white grape varieties, the grapes of which are not actually mature. Rather, the berries shimmer copper-colored in autumn. And accordingly, wines from the grape variety, when they are fermented on the mash, have the color of a robin - in Slovenian "Gardelin".
Aleks fermented the Grauburgunder on the mash for four days before it in 500 liter of acacia barrels for a year pluggedto have it further developed for another year in the 2000 liter acacia-barrel barrel. In the third year, the wine is decanted in the stainless steel, so that the wine is undiltrated but relatively clear and filled. Is sulfurized minimal.
style
Klinec ’Gardelin reveals his relationship to Pinot Noir and embeds cool, red-berry flavors, forest floor notes and a fine spice in a tight-meshed texture. The structure is elegant, vertical, playful and strict at the same time.
