Barranco Oscuro Salmónido 2018
- €19,90
A rosé from the Andalusian Alpujarras, from one of the highest Pinot Noir vineyards in the world. At 1300 metres, freshness and fruit are guaranteed, but the intense light reflecting off the slate soils and the often scorching summer heat during the day also ensure that the sugar is stored in the berries and that they ripen perfectly.
After a one-day maceration followed by gentle pressing, the light pink juice is transformed into wine according to the usual procedures at Barranco Oscuro. In a few words, this means: spontaneous fermentation, no temperature control, no enzymes, no fining, a large wooden barrel and no SO2.
Style & flavours
A great alternative to most standard rosés. Intense, profound and full-bodied. Has body and structure. Smells and tastes of red berries, roses and earth. Shows vibrancy, freshness and temperament on the palate. No residual sugar concessions are made!
