Soracuna is a classic Bardolino in the best sense of the word. Most of its grapes come from pergolas that are over 50 years old and whose roots have dug deep into the morainic subsoil. The grape varieties are the usual suspects of the region: Corvina, whose fruity aromas and fine tannins provide finesse and a crumbly texture; Rondinella, which contributes colour and a delicate herbal aroma; and Molinara, which is responsible for lightness, freshness and a slightly salty touch.
The Soracuna is matured for several months in cement vats. It is fermented spontaneously, is neither fined nor filtered and contains a minimum of SO2.
