Torcuato Huertas elevates blending to an oenological art form. Of the 21 varieties he grows in his vineyards on the northern slopes of the Sierra Nevada, 10 are white. All of them flow into the Purulio Blanco, which - as astonishing as this may sound - presents itself as one big entity.

Its vines grow in two vineyards located at 900 and 1050 metres above sea level. Freshness is therefore guaranteed despite the fact that his wines are located at the same latitude as Tunis. Ripeness too.

All the grapes are harvested separately and, with the exception of the Moscatel, remain chilled on the skins for a week before being pressed. The juice is then fermented spontaneously partly in steel tanks, partly in wooden barrels and then matured for over a year in used barriques before being bottled unfined, unfiltered and sulphurised.

Citrus flavours. Lime and bergamot flavours. Mediterranean herbs. A little woody spice. Tightly woven, powerful and vital on the palate. Has substance for a few years.
