Riesling, and how! "Planted, picked, stomped, and bottled with our own hands. With love, family, and friends, fresh air, and lots of fun." That's what Olympia and Hannes from the roterfaden winery say.
And honestly, that says it all.
But we’ll add a few more lines because we see the future in this Riesling: the future of Riesling itself and the Württemberg wine culture as a whole.
We briefly debated whether to use the term Anti-Riesling in this description. But in truth, that would be entirely wrong, because this is Riesling—different, yes—but exactly as it should be. Clear, precise, mineral, refreshing, and immensely vibrant. A Riesling that pays no heed to stone fruit notes, but if you truly listen to it, you can taste the shell limestone soil—and the energy and passion that Olympia and Hannes pour into nurturing their vines and crafting their wines.
Naturally, fermentation is spontaneous.
