Italy has around 700,000 hectares of vineyards spread across all 20 regions. The geological and climatic differences are eminent. There is more than just one world between South Tyrol and Sicily. In addition, there are around 500 different grape varieties, countless viticultural traditions and a multitude of excellent winegrowers who interpret them in their own personal way. So there is a lot to discover. In our range, we pay tribute to this diversity and combine it with personal preferences - knowing full well that we can unfortunately only offer a fraction of what would actually be worthwhile.

Mit dem Giallo di Costa lotet Daniele Ricci aus, was mit Timorasso alles möglich ist. Drei Monate lang mazeriert, zwei Jahre im Akazienfass gereift. Top.

Like few other Italian grape varieties, Lagrein is suitable for rosati that not only want to convey freshness but also depth. The reason for this is the thick, dark, extract-rich skins, which release colour, aromas and tannins even on brief contact with the juice.  Martin Gojer's Lagrein vines a...

Autoclaves or pressure tanks represent the industrialisation of Lambrusco in both symbolic and concrete terms. They can be used to produce sparkling wines quickly and cost-effectively. Their quasi-universal introduction in the 1950s led to a multiplication of production, but also to a standardis...

The Soracuna is a classic Bardolino in the best sense of the word. His grapes come mostly from over 50 years old pergolas, the roots of which have dug deeply into the moraine underground. The grape varieties are the usual suspects of the region: Corvina, their fruit aromas and fine tannins provi...

For a long time, the Catarratto grape variety was synonymous with simple and mostly insignificant wines. Cement has always been used in Italy as a material for ageing wines. In Tuscany in particular, there are still dozens of wineries that ferment their wines in it - which is probably due to the fact that Sangiovese in particular seems to feel quite at home in it.  Which is why Giovanna Tiezzi and S...

Trebbiano is a grape variety family consisting of around 15 different members. It is generally ridiculed and dismissed in terms of quality.
